A carbonization still 3 for carbonizing a predetermined amount of carbonizing object of a batch type is provided. A gas cooling pool 5 for cooling the high-boiling-point constituent oil in the produced gas G generated by carbonization in the carbonization still 3 at predetermined temperature for condensation is provided. The produced gas discharged from a gas cooling tank 5 is released into water for preventing the backward flow of the produced gas G. A backward flow preventer 6 for condensing the low-boiling-point constituent oil in the produced gas is provided in the water. An oil separator 11 for separating the low-boiling-point constituent oil from circulated water discharged from the backward flow preventer 6 is provided for performing the partial condensation and recovery of high-boiling-point constituent oil and low-boiling-point constituent oil from the produced gas.
