To provide a carbonizing method reducing a carbonizing energy cost.
The carbonizing method comprises separating an organic waste containing a solid and a liquid by a separator; adding methane bacteria, which are a fermented microorganism, into the liquid; performing methane fermentation in a methane fermentation tank; and being stored in a gas depot recovering a methane gas which is a generated microorganism fermentation gas. On the other hand, utilizing the methane gas stored beforehand in the gas depot as a heat source for combustion when the solid separated by the separator is conveyed to a combustion/carbonization system to do combustion and carbonization, the combustion/carbonization can be fully performed by burning the solid utilizing the methane gas which is expected to generate higher energy than that of a generation gas generated generally at combustion of the solid, and a supplying amount of an external fuel is decreased by obtaining the methane gas from the liquid obtained by separation of the organic waste water.
