Abstract:
To provide a carboxy group-containing fluorocopolymer which is obtained by directly copolymerizing a fluoroolefin and a fluorine-containing unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer.
This carboxy group-containing fluorocopolymer is obtained by copolymerizing at least a kind of fluoroolefin monomer with a fluorine- containing unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer represented by the formula: R1R2C=C(R3)COOH (wherein R1, R2, and R3 are the same of different each H, F, Cl or a 1-6C haloalkyl, provided at least one of R1, R2, and R3 is F or a fluoroalkyl) and has a wt. average mol.wt. Mw of 100,000-1,000,000.
