Abstract:

To provide: carboxymethylated cellulose nanofibers which provide a liquid dispersion having low viscosity; and a production method for the carboxymethylated cellulose nanofibers.SOLUTION: This production method for carboxymethylated cellulose nanofibers comprises (A) a step for preparing carboxymethylated cellulose, (B) a step for treating the carboxymethylated cellulose using hydrogen peroxide, and (C) a step for defibrating the treated carboxymethylated cellulose to give cellulose nanofibers.SELECTED DRAWING: None
