To provide a carburetor with a jet needle, configured to use a DLC film to efficiently prevent wear due to sliding of the jet needle and a needle jet, while preventing the DLC film from being peeled off.

A carburetor includes a cylinder communicating with an intake passage in the shape of T. In the cylinder, a piston valve moves along a cylinder axial direction. The carburetor includes a needle jet extending from the intake passage, and a jet needle extending from the piston valve, inserted into the needle jet, and moving in the axial direction of the needle jet to adjust fuel injection amount. On the outer surface of the aluminum-alloy jet needle, anodic oxide coating is formed. A DLC film is disposed on the anodic oxide coating.
