Abstract:
The invention provides a carburizing processing apparatus, which can suppress the heat loss of workpieces during carburizing treatment and lower the energy consumption to a level less than ever before. The carburizing processing apparatus 1 has arranged therein a cylindrical direction restriction member 31 which is used to differentiate the housing wall 11 of a processing chamber 10 and an induction heating coil 20, and a workpiece W, thereby restricting the flowing of carburizing atmosphere gas convecting in the processing chamber to the housing wall 11 of a processing chamber 10 and an induction heating coil 20 side from the workpiece W side. In this way, the heat exchange between the carburizing atmosphere gas and the housing wall 11 and the induction heating coil 20.
