Abstract:
To provide carburizing steel that reduces variation of a deformation amount of carburized steel component after a carburization treatment and exhibits its effect even in a component of complicated shape, a carburized steel component therewith and a manufacturing method of the carburized steel component.SOLUTION: Carburizing steel comprises, by mass%, 0.06 to 0.30%, Si: 0.01 to 0.90%, Mn: 1.50 to 3.50%, P: 0.05% or smaller, S: 0.001 to 0.100%, Cr: 1.50 to 4.00%, Al: 0.001 to 0.050%, N: 0.0030 to 0.0250%, and the remainder consists of Fe and impurities, in which, when carburized, the following index Ms expresses an Ms point (°C) of a depth 25 μm position from the carburized surface is 50°C or higher. Ms=194.8-1.3×Si-31.7×Mn-11.6×Cr, herein, in the formula that expresses the index Ms, each symbol of element shows a content (mass%) of each element.SELECTED DRAWING: None
