To provide a card connector that can prevent deformation of a contact when a card is erroneously inserted, and that can reduce height of the contact.

There is provided a card connector in which a base member and a cover member form a card housing space for selectively housing one of two cards that are different in size. The card connector includes: a plurality of first and second contacts; a partition member vertically dividing the card housing and movable in the card housing space so as to respond to attachment and removal of the two cards; and an ejection member movable in forward and backward directions along side walls. The partition member is provided with a plurality of protection walls, each having a concave housing portion for housing a tip end of each of the plurality of first contacts. The ejection member has a first contact member to be in contact with the one card and a second contact member to be in contact with the other card. The second contact member has a support surface for supporting the partition member when the one card is loaded.
