Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector for a small card, having a stable contact pressure to card electrodes, allowing pulling-out of the card from a set position without directly touching the card, imparting a click feeling when inserting/ pulling-out the card, and easy to assemble.
SOLUTION: This card connector comprises a body 10 having contacts and a cover 30 slidably attached to the body 10. A front end side of the cover 30 is formed with engaging pieces 34 for engaging with a front end face of a card. A pair of function parts, which cooperates to impart a click feeling when the cover 30 is slid, is distributedly formed in the body 10 and the cover 30. The function parts comprise a first projecting part 19 of the body 10 having a crest shape in plan view and a second projecting part 32 formed in a side plate part 31 of the cover 30 having a crest shape in plan view.
