Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector which can be adapted to plural kinds of cards having different dimensions of the thickness and width by making the card connector operate by changing members such as a shutter, an actuator, a latch arm without applying any work on the card, when using the plural kinds of cards by inserting in the card connector, constructed so as to distinguish the usage of cards by allowing the use of an appropriate card and by rejecting the use of an inappropriate card.
SOLUTION: The card connector comprises a body of equipment, a card insertion hole opened at least on one side of the body of equipment, a plurality of contacts arranged in the body of equipment, and a switching mechanism constructed of at least an actuator member and a shutter member arranged in the body of equipment.
