Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make dealing processing possible only by a reading operation of a card by storing data in a card in advance, and clearing the data stored in the card when the data is read and the card is given to a reading device and if input data is normal. CONSTITUTION:An IC card includes a CPU 1, a ROM 2, a RAM 3, an I/O control circuit 4, a display device 5, a keyboard 6, and an interface 7 at a side of a card. The CPU 1 stores a data in the RAM 3 when a password number or an amount of money data are inputted through the I/O control circuit 4 from the keyboard 6. When the data stored in the RAM 3 of the IC card is read and given to a card reader, it is discriminated whether the input data is normal or not and if it is normal, status information is given to the IC card and the data stored in the IC card is cleared.
