Abstract:
To provide a card flat part for a carding engine increased in strength.
This card flat part 1 for a carding engine comprises a supporting material 2 and hooks 3 made of wires and protruding in a state attached to the supporting material 2 over the supporting material 2. In the card flat part 1, the hooks 3 are made of the wires having the transverse cross- sectional area as some tens of percentages of a constituent material in the hooks 3 different from the transverse cross-sectional area of the wires as the constituent material of the residual hooks 3 in order to raise the durability or strength of the card flat part, especially in the case of high-speed production carding.
