Abstract:

To diversify a game by varying an object such as a character used in the game, by combinations of a plurality of cards.

A card game system identifies a position where a card is disposed, by a card identifying part 35, out of an image picked up by a CCD camera 22. From the disposition of the card, a relative position detecting part 36 detects the relative positions of the plurality of cards included in the image. A character forming part 42 forms the object to be displayed on a screen according to the detected relative positions of the cards. A game processing part 40 makes a liquid crystal monitor 19 or a projector 26 display a game image which includes the object formed by the character forming part 42.
