To provide a card holder used in connecting an IC card to a personal computer, etc. through USB, which is good in portability during non-use, and allows easy installation of the IC card.
The card holder comprises a main body 5 equipped with a USB terminal 3; a first guide member 7 equipped with a first guide part 9 to guide a part of one end side in the widthwise direction of the IC card and installed in a freely move-in/out manner on the main body 5, a second guide member 11 equipped with a second guide part 13 to guide a part of the other end side in the widthwise direction of the IC card, and installed in a freely move-in/out manner on the main body 5, a striking part 15 installed on the main body 5 for one end in the longitudinal direction of the IC card to strike upon, and a first connector 17 installed on the main body 5 to connect with terminals of the IC card.
