Title:
CARD INVERTING MECHANISM FOR PRINTER DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001039588
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate rotation of a roller itself during inversion to prevent card conveying during the inversion and to improve positional accuracy of a card, by rotating a roller shaft gear about a rotation shaft of an inversion gear following the rotation of the inversion gear during non-regulation by an inversion operation control means.

A card 1 is conveyed in a platen roller 3 direction by rotation of a driving roller 4 in a print portion 30, and printed and recorded via an ink ribbon 6a by operation of a thermal head 2. Next, the card 1 is fed to an inverting portion 40, and in the inverting portion 40, rotation of a motor gear 12 rotates a nipping riving roller 10 via gear rows 13, 14, 17 to convey the card 1 until it is detected by a positional sensor. An electromagnetic solenoid 20 is turned on to open and separate a positioning member 18a from a latch plate 22, when the motor gear 12 is rotated in this state, the rotation of a nipping roller gear 17 is inhibited, and the card 1 is inverted by 180° in a state in which it is sandwiched between the nipping rollers 10, 11.
