Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2703683
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To issue membership cards at many branch video rental shops, etc., under the control of the head office at a distance without any human intervention.
CONSTITUTION: At a branch rental shop 2, a user makes a hard copy of a sheet 21 with a sign where an identification certificate is stuck such as the driver's license by using a copying machine 22. This hard copy is sent to the side of the head office of the rental shop through a facsimile equipment 231. On the head office side, the contents of the received sheet, i.e., the identification of the user is confirmed. When there is no problem as a result of the confirmation, the facsimile equipment 231 on the branch shop side is called by using a facsimile equipment 11. A branch-side driving control circuit 234 receiving a ring-back tone through the branch-side facsimile equipment 231 drives a card issuing mechanism 233 to issue a card.
