Title:
CARD LOCK SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3383890
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate a burden on a movable member because the movable member is slid against the elastic force of a coil spring, and to machine a tumbler and a key piece easily by pivotally attaching the tumbler while using a pivotal base end as a pivotal fulcrum and reducing the width of the vertical movement of the pushing section of the tumbler.
CONSTITUTION: When a key piece 9 is inserted from an opening, the pushing projecting sections 5b of tumblers 5 projected into an air gap section 2 are pushed by the front end of the key piece 9. When the key piece 9 is further inserted, the pushing projecting sections 5b are fitted into recessed grooves 11a formed to key chips 11. The recessed grooves 11a are formed in arbitrary depth set to each key chip 11 before the fitting into the recessed grooves 11a. Each pushing projecting section 5b is brought to an inserted state into each recessed groove 11a. Movable members 6 are slid vertically in slots 3 by the pivotal movement of each tumbler 5. Accordingly, a large number of card lock systems can be combined only by changing the built-in places of the tumblers and the depth of grooves, into which the key chips coinciding with the built-in places are buried.
