CONSTITUTION: After a magnetic card 18 is used, a linear DC brushless motor 32 is reversed. A driving force is generated in the direction of an arrow B in the upper part of an endledd carrying belt 39 by the magnetic card 18 and is generated a driving force in the direction of an arrow A in the lower part, and the turning direction of the endledd carrying belt 39 is reversed. Consequently, the endless carrying belt 39 fixed to a turning field magnet 31 is guided by guide rolls 35 and 36 and is linearly driven in the direction of the arrow B and in the direction of the arrow A in the upper part and the lower part respectively, and the magnetic card 18 mounted on the endless carrying belt 39 is ejected from a magnetic card insertion/ejection slot 29. Thus, the card reader device is made thin, small-sized, and light-weight.
