PURPOSE: To prevent a card recognized as valueless in monetary point from making into dust and to prevent malfeasance such as the rewrite of data, etc., from occurring.

CONSTITUTION: A card reader which reads valuable data equivalent to money essentially stored in a card is equipped with a valuelessness judging means M1 which judges whether or not read valuable data is valueless data in monetary point, and a card fetch means M2 which fetches the card in a main body when it is judged that the valuable data is valueless by the valuelessness judging means M1.
