PURPOSE: To increase extremely the capacity of a card type information recording medium by giving a parallel shift to an optical information recording medium as well as an optical head along the grip and the teeth of a comb-shaped track guide groove respectively.

CONSTITUTION: An optical head 6 can have a parallel shift by an optical head driving linear motor to an information recording part formed with the teeth of a comb-shaped track guide groove. While a card type optical information recording medium 5 can have a parallel shift by a driving linear motor 9 for support table of the medium 5 to an information recording part formed with the teeth and the tooth grip of said track guide groove. In such constitution, the capacity of a card type information recording medium can be extremely increased.
