PURPOSE: To surely detect a safe ball of high flowing speed and hardly cause wrong operation affected by noise and static electricity by providing a ball separation means, which is provided in the flowing down path of a winning ball and separating the winning ball one by one so as to flow down, in a winning ball detector.

CONSTITUTION: A safe ball detector 115 is provided with an introduction gutter (a ball separation means) 115a which introduces a safe ball SQ flowing down from a safe ball passing hole of a safe ball guide shelf into the detector 115, a feed gutter (a ball separation means) 115b which is connected to the safe ball gutter and feeds out the safe ball after the detection, and a rotary ball feeder (a ball separation means) 115c which feeds the safe ball SQ from the introduction gutter 115a side to the feed gutter 115b side one by one. It is also provided with the first safe ball detection sensor SS1 provided in the end part of the ball feeder 115c side of the introduction gutter 115a and the second safe ball detection sensor SS2 provided in the end part of the ball feeder 115c side of the feed gutter 115b.
