Abstract:

To provide a card capable of surely preventing unauthorized use.

The card stores first signature information which is handwritten by an owner of a card 100 and input previously. When a new piece of handwritten signature information is input as second signature information, the card compares the first signature information with the second signature information and generates signature authentication information when handwriting of both signatures coincide with each other entirely or partly. The card outputs settlement information comprising the generated signature authentication information and card information when receiving a request for the settlement information from a settlement terminal device.
