Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attenuate shocks in mounting cargoes by opening and closing a cargo dumping opening formed over the whole bottom surface of a hold of a ship with a buoy structure vertically moved by the operation of a hydraulic cylinder to enable an accumulator to be connected to the hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A ship is formed over the whole bottom of a hold 1 with a cargo dumping opening 26 which is opened and closed by a bottom valve body 20 of buoy structure. The bottom valve body 20 is connected to hydraulic cylinders 7 on board through four rods 6 erected on the front, rear, right and left portions of said body 20 to be moved up and down by the operation of the hydraulic cylinders 7. Also, the hydraulic chambers below pistons in the hydraulic cylinders 7 are connected to an accumulator 23 through hydraulic pipes 24 having valves 15 interposed respectively, and an air relief valve 11 and a compressed air pipe 25 are provided to communicate to an air tank in the accumulator 23. And when cargoes are dumped and mounted in the hold 1, the accumulator 23 is connected to the hydraulic cylinders 7 to support the bottom valve body 20 to attenuate shocks.
