Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make inching control compatible with cargo-handing running control by a method wherein an industrial vehicle having a cargo-handling running control function is provided with an inching operation means.
SOLUTION: A CPU 33 decides that a cargo-handling running control mode is set when the number of revolutions of an engine according to an operation amount of a cargo-handling lever 29 is increased to a value higher than the number of revolutions of an engine according to a pedaling amount of an accelerator pedal 23. In a case of the cargo-handling running mode, the number of revolutions of an engine is adjusted to a value corresponding to the cargo-handling lever 29 and a car speed is decided by a pedaling amount of an accelerator pedal 25. Meanwhile, the CPU 33 decides that an inching control mode is established when an inching pedal 24 is pedaled, and clutches 8 and 9 are adjusted to a clutch pressure corresponding to a pedaling amount. When the two modes of inching control and cargo-handling control are both established, the CPU 33 gives priority to inching control. When an inching pedal 24 is stepped on during cargo-handling running control, switching to inching control is effected at a point of tine when a clutch pressure by inching control coincides with a clutch pressure during completion of cargo-handling running control within a given allowable range.
