PURPOSE: To absorb the shaking of a work-platform ship in cargo-work installation in rivers or the like with high range of tide by mounting a rotary bridge on a pier to be freely swayed by two-point support and fixing the work-platform ship on another end of the rotary bridge by one-point support.
CONSTITUTION: A river bank (a) is connected to a pier (c) by a fixed connecting bridge (b), and the pier (c) is connected to a work-platform ship (g) by a rotary bridge (e) via a rotary bearing device (d) on the pier and a rotary bearing device (f) on the work-platform ship. The rotary bearing device (d) on the pier is constructed by arranging a rotary bearing 4 on a turntable 2 on the pier 1 to be rotated round a shaft 3 with rollers 7 interposed between them, and the rotary bridge (e) is connected to the rotary bearing 4 by a rotatable bearing 9. The rotary shaft 3 is provided in the center of the turntable 2 to be vertically slided with a rotary bearing 4 on its top via a spherical bearing. Meanwhile, the rotary bearing device (f) on the work-platform ship is constructed of a spherical bearing, and bears the work-platform ship by one-point support.
