Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily handle a wire rod to carry, to easily and inexpensively carry the wire rod and to miniaturize a device.
SOLUTION: A wire rod 5 untied and temporarily fixed is carried, and after specified processing is applied to it by external processing equipment, it is carried to a following process. A carrier device 1 has a guide member 11, a slide member 12 installed on the guide member 11 free to slide, a slide mechanism 10 installed on the slide member 12 and having a support member 13 to support the wire rod 5 and a grip means 24 to grip one end of the wire rod and free to elevate at least on one side in parallel with the guide member 11, and it is furnished with a first carrier mechanism 20 to carry the wire rod with the slide member along the guide member by moving the grip means in parallel with the guide member and a second carrier mechanism 30 to carry one end of the wire rod carried by the first carrier mechanism 20 to carry between itself and the external processing equipment.
