PURPOSE: To improve the safety and the smoothness of a carrying work by installing a plate glass sucker slidable along a slit provided to a main body.

CONSTITUTION: A sucker 2 to suck and hold a plate glass is composed of a suction cup 6, a lever 7 for sucking operation, and a handle 8, and the mounting and demounting operation of the plate glass by the suction cup 6 is carried out by the sucking operation lever 7. The sucking operation lever 7 is provided integrally with the suction cup 6 and at the opposite side of the suction cup 6 through a shaft penerating a main body 1. And a slit 21 is provided vertically at the center of the main body 1, and the sucker 2 is installed slidable in the slit 21. At the lower end of the main body 1, a bottom plate 22 with casters 24 is provided through a hinge 5. When the plate glass is sucked and held, the bottom plate 22 is erected by the hinge 5, so as to make the lower end surface 12 of the main body and the lower end surface of the plate glass coincident, and after the height of the sucker 2 is fitted to the height of a worker, the plate glass is sucked and held. Then, the casters 24 are returned to the working positions.
