PURPOSE: To carry a guide rail in an elevator passage safely, surely, and efficiently without any manual operation, concerning a carry-in device of the guide rail for an elevator to be standingly provided on the wall of the elevator passage of a building at construction of a multistoried building.

CONSTITUTION: In this carry-in device, a plurality of pairs of supporting rollers 22 are mounted rotatably in the direction meeting at right angles with the lengthwise direction of a frame 20 and horizontally, on both the insides of the frame 20 of gutter-like section, and the gap between the paired supporting rollers 22 is formed a little larger than the tooth width 7a so as to place a guide rail 7 in the laying down condition.
