PURPOSE: To enable a mass transportation of fine and superfine powdery substance of a low specific gravity of volume by providing a vent room in which inside of a container body is defined by a filter from a lower side half over a bottom surface.
CONSTITUTION: When powdery substance is charged, a charging nozzle 7 is opened so that the powdery substance can be sent into a container body 1. In this instance, air supply valves 13a and 14a of air supply pipes 13 and 14 are closed, while air exhausting valves 13b and 14b are opened, so that air entering the container body 1 and involved in the powdery substance to be charged is exhausted into respective vent rooms 10 and 11. By this, the charged powdery substance comes to have a high density. When the powdery substance is discharged out of the container body 1, first the container body 1 is connected to a powdery substance transportation pump 6 through a joint part 24, next a lower part exhausting valve 5 of a hopper 3 is opened, and further the air supplying valves 13a and 14a of the vent pipes 13 and 14 are opened, while the air exhausting valves 13ba and 14b are closed. Then the discharge of the powdery substance is carried out while air is blown into the container body 1. In addition, pressure which is a little weaker than the air sending pressure into the container body 1 is blown into a hopper from the vent pipes 13 and 14 through a hopper part vent room 16.
