To provide a carrying device for a tire constituting member, corresponding to extensive tire size not only without needing to exchange segments each time changing over the size of a tire to be produced but also without being accompanied by increase of size of the whole device.
The carrying device 1 for the tire constituting member includes: a carriage base 2; an annular support member 3 erectly provided on the carriage base 2; a plurality of segments 4 which is disposed in a circumferential direction on an inner circumference side of the support member 3, and can hold the tire constituting member from the periphery; and link mechanisms 5 each turnably pivotally connecting a pair of parallel first links 21a, 21b connecting the support member 3 and each segment 4, and a pair of parallel second links 22a, 22b which are disposed in a state that the second links 22a, 22b cross the first links 21a, 21b and which connect the support member 3 and the segment 4, and synchronously moving the segments 4 in a radial direction by a relative turn of the first links 21a, 21b and the second links 22a, 22b.
