Abstract:

To provide a carrying robot and its control method allowing less transfer errors of the carrying robot while pulling LCD glasses out without collision with cassettes.

Whether carried materials are parallel to the travel axis of the carrying robot or not is judged. If the carried materials are not parallel thereto, an angle of rotation between the carried material and the travel axis is calculated and the carried materials are replaced to an equivalent to the angle of rotation, pulled out and moved to a destination point where a correction value is calculated for correcting the destination point in accordance with the correction value. The LCD glasses are aligned utilizing the carrying robot and a sensor and so accurately kept in position when moved down to an outlet stage while being safely removed without collision with the cassettes.
