Abstract:
PURPOSE:To precisely record and reproduce information extending over a long period of time by forming a sliding part made of the material of a small friction coefficient at a rib. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge is provided with a reactangular case 1 to store rotatably an optical disk 11, opening part 2 formed on both sides of the case 1, and the ribs 3 protruding inside from the edge parts of the opening parts 2. Then, the sliding members 4 made of 'Teflon(R)' of the small friction coefficient are formed at the tip part of the ribs 3. Accordingly, since the sliding part 4 made of the material of the small friction coefficient is formed at the rib 3, the generation of abrasion dust can be suppressed even if the disk 11 during rotation slides on the rib 3. Thus, even if the optical disk 11 slides on the rib 3, the information can precisely be recorded and reproduced.
