A cartridge freely attached to or detached from an image forming apparatus body comprises: the processing means with a shaft acting on an image carrier; the bearing member supporting the shaft; the frame body with a support portion supporting the bearing member so that it is movable; an energizing member movable to a first position and a second position by moving the support portion, thereby energizing the bearing member from the second position to the first position, the first position being the position where the processing means acts on the image carrier and the second position being the position where the processing means moves apart from the image carrier; a restricting portion configured to restrict the separation of the bearing part energized by the energizing member from the support portion; and a detaching portion provided so as to be able to detach the bearing member from the frame body in the second position.
