To provide a case body storage method easily storing/managing case bodies even if there are odd case bodies, and to provide a case body storage facility preferably embodying the method.
Stacking means 20 stacks a plurality of stacks on a pallet 8. In each stack, a plurality of case bodies 6 conveyed are arranged. A stacked pallet 9 which a pre-determined number of stacks are stacked is conveyed from the stacking means 20 into a first storage device 60 through first conveying means 46. At the stacking means 20, if there are odd case bodies 6, that are less than the pre-determined number, the odd case bodies 6 are conveyed from the stacking means 20 into second storage device 80 through second conveying means 70. Storing the stacked pallet into the first storage device facilitates storage/management of types and numbers, and storing the odd case bodies into the second storage device facilitates storage/management of types and numbers.
