Abstract:
To provide a casement window capable of improving mounting workability of a hinge device.SOLUTION: A vertically projected window includes a hinge device 10 which connects a sliding screen to a window frame in an openable and closable manner. The hinge device 10 comprises: a first fixing plate 11; a second fixing plate 12; and a connecting mechanism 13 for connecting the first fixing plate 11 to the second fixing plate 12 in an openably and closably movable manner. The sliding screen includes a plate receiving part 315 for receiving the first fixing plate 11, in a direction towards which a force is applied to the first fixing plate 11 by an opening and closing movement of the sliding screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
