To provide a cassette device for printing capable of forming a label which can express information being rich in varieties by variously changing the color depending on various temperatures.
This cassette device 21 holds a printing tape 34 and an ink ribbon 35, and is detachably fitted in a printing device 1 equipped with a thermal head 9. The printing tape 34 and the ink ribbon 35 are fed to the thermal head 9, and printing is performed onto the printing tape 34 through the ink ribbon 35 by the heating of the thermal head 9. The printing tape 34 has a temperature indicating material layer 41 including a temperature indicating material which discolors or colors in response to the variation of the temperature. The ink ribbon 35 has an ink layer 46 for transfer including a temperature indicating material which discolors or colors by a temperature being different from the temperature for the temperature indicating material layer 41 of the printing tape 34. A predetermined pattern is printed on the temperature indicating material layer 41 of the printing tape 34 with the ink of the ink layer 46 for transfer, and the printing tape 34 is used as a temperature indicating label.
