A cassette discharge device 1 which transfers a cassette 2 containing a work to an automatic guided vehicle comprises an inputting part 10 for inputting the cassette 2, a discharging part 11 for transferring the cassette 2 to the automatic guided vehicle, a buffer part 12 which is arranged between the inputting part and the discharging part and contains the cassette temporally, a memory part which stores an identification number of the cassette and a cassette containing data by associating each other, an identification number detecting device 13 which is arranged at the discharging part 11 and detects the identification number of the cassette, a retrieval part which retrieves the containing data, which corresponds to the cassette of the identification number detected by the identification number detecting device 13, from the memory part, and a recording part 14 which is arranged at the discharging part 11 and records the containing data retrieved by the retrieval part to the cassette of the identification number corresponding to the data.
