Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a web cassette which is in simple structure and easily manufactured and can prevent the timepiece spring operation of a web.
CONSTITUTION: A light shield cassette 10 has a means which prevents the timepiece spring operation in the cassette during the storage and transportation of the web material roll 14. The web material is fitted to a tubular web core 12 and able to rotate on an axis in the cassette. The cassette has an end part cap 22 having a tubular hub member 34. The hub member 34 has a rod type part 38 receiving the timepiece spring operation preventing means, which consists of a fork 44 having a center member 52 composed of a separated rotation prevention arm receiving the rod type member 38. The fork 44 has a flexible hook finger 46 engaging the end part cap 22 and a flexible locking finger 48 which is pressed in an annular gap formed when the hub member 34 is inserted into the web core 12.
