Abstract:
PURPOSE:To discriminate the position of cassette inserting port without switching a light source on/off by making the light from the light source for information display non-incident/incident in accordance with the opening/closing position of a cassette lid and exiting from the front surface by making the light irregularly reflect at the incident time. CONSTITUTION:In the case the inserting port 4 of cassette lid 5 is closed by the energizing force of a coil spring 6, a display plate 12 is illuminated by the illuminating light of a lamp 13, and also the light is led to the edge-state side surface 5a of the outmost side to a rotary shaft of the cassette lid 5. The illuminating light of lamp 13 incident to the side surface 5a is refracted toward the rear surface side of lid 5 and further transmitted inside of the plate thickness of lid 5 which is functioned as a light guide plate, to attain to an illumination spreading part 7. Then the light is irregularly reflected by the part 7 and made to exit from the surface (front surface) of lid 5 through the inserting port 4. By this procedure, the part 7 seems to being bright in white when an operator looks the lid 5, therefore, the position of inserting port 4 can be discriminated.
