Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate replacement and loading of a cassette type hinge by removing a cap to make it possible to load and unload a cassette incorporating a self-closing spring mechanism or a damper mechanism to an exposed hinge.
CONSTITUTION: The top cap of a hinge having only hinge function is removed to expose a hinge shaft 12. After that, the lower end hook 51A of a torsion coil spring 51 is interlocked with a notch of the shaft 12. Then, after a spring case 5 is fixed to a cassette joint 22 of a door side wing 2 with screws, etc., a rolling plate 52 is revolved, and it is fixed to the case 5 in a state to adjust elastic force. When a damper cassette is loaded, a fitting groove opened to the bottom side of a lower cam 62 is positioned to the upper part of the shaft 12 to fit. In addition, after a damper case 6 is mounted to the joint 22, elastic force of a compression spring 63 is provided to an upper cam 61, and the upper cam 61 is connected with the lower cam 62 with pressure. By the constitution, the existing hinge can be easily replaced with a new hinge to load.
