PURPOSE: To enable the reduction in the magnification rate of an X-ray, by disposing a semiconductor detector which detects the dose of the X-ray on a subject side and an imaging plate which accumulates the X-ray image of the subject below the semiconductor detector, respectively in a cassette housing.
CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor X-ray detector 40, an imaging plate 33, and a cushion material 11 are superposedly stored successively in a cassette housing 4 from the side nearer the subject along the arrowmarked advance direction of an X-ray. The thickness over the entire part including the front plate 3 and rear plate 7 of the housing 4 is regulated to ≤15mm specified by JIS, and the rate of the decrease in the X-ray in the semiconductor detection part 40 is extremely slight; further, the outside circumferential part of a mount base 32, that is, the part to be fitted to a fixing plate 22 and the inside circumferential part are tapered and therefore the abrupt change in the rate of the decrease in the X-ray is suppressed and no shade of the detector 40 is generated in the imaging plate 33. The distance between the subject and the cassette is thus decreased and the magnification rate of the X-ray is decreased.
