Abstract:
To provide a printer which enables improvement of flexibility of arrangement of an input position of a drive force to a cassette and an output position of the drive force to the outside of the cassette.SOLUTION: The disclosure relates to a printer including a cassette for printing, a platen roller, and a driving source. The cassette for printing has: an input part to which a drive force is input; an output part which rotates around a rotation axis parallel to a first direction and transmits the drive force to the platen roller; a transmission mechanism which transmits the drive force input to the input part to the output part; and a case in which at least a part of a printed tape, at least a part of the input part, at least a part of the output part, and at least a part of the transmission mechanism are disposed. The part of the output part is located outside the case. In a projection view projected on a virtual surface perpendicular to the first direction, the output part is located at the inner side relative to an outer edge of the case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
