To increase the drying speed of a casting film to increase the production efficiency in solution film forming and moreover to prevent foaming of the casting film.

A casting apparatus of solution film forming facilities is provided with a first to third casting surface side air supply and exhaust units on a casting surface side of a band in order from the upstream side. The casting apparatus further has a first to third non-casting surface side air supply and exhaust units on a non-casting surface side of the band 30 in order from the upstream side. Each air supply and exhaust unit has an air supply part 61 and a pair of wind shielding plates 62. Each air supply part blows air to the casting film 36 from an air supply duct nozzle 67. Each of wind shielding plates 62, 54, 55 is arranged on the inside of a passing line of the side edge of the casting film 36 in the width direction. On a non-casting surface side of the band, the wind shielding plates 87, 101-103 arranged in order from the upstream side are arranged near to the center from the wind shielding plates 62, 54, 55 and the interval between the wind shielding plates forming a pair is narrower toward the downstream side in the order.
