To provide a casting device and a casting method using this device, capable of accurately controlling the molten metal outlet temperature of a silicon molten liquid, while raising the temperature of a casting mold to the high temperatures by a simple technique, without particularly enlarging and complicating the casting device, by eliminating the problem of causing leakage of molten metal before complete melting.
This casting device has a melting crucible 1a for letting out molten metal from a molten metal outlet port 3 arranged in a bottom part by holding and melting a silicon raw material inside, a nozzle 2 suspendibly provided so as to cover the molten metal outlet port 3 on the outside of the melting crucible 1a, the casting mold 7 provided under the nozzle 2, a first heating means 4 for forming the silicon molten liquid by heating the silicon raw material in the melting crucible 1a, a second heating means for heating the casting mold 7, and a plurality of silicon plugs 5 arranged in a plurality in the vertical direction inside the nozzle 2.
