PURPOSE: To obtain a resin molded object free from cloudiness, etc. and having excellent mirror surface properties by providing a specific film on a mold.

CONSTITUTION: The casting mold used is covered with a film of Ni, Cr, Au or Ag which is provided by vacuum deposition, ionic plating or ionic sputtering on the molding surface of a mold of casting glass or ceramics. This film sticks firmly to the mold. when liquid resin is injected into the mold, the adhesive force between the resin and the film provided on the mold is much smaller than that between the mold and the film, which acts as mold releasing film in casting and transfer is performed on the molded object without injuring mirror surface properties given to the mold.
