Abstract:

PURPOSE: The titled repellent not making human feel unpleasant smell, exerting improved repelling effects on cats and dogs with an extremely small amount and preventing damage of bag rupture by cats and dogs, comprising bis(2- chloroisopropyl)ether as an active ingredient.

CONSTITUTION: A repellent containing bis(2-chloroisopropyl)ether which is widely used as a nematocide for vegetables, tea, tobacco, etc., also applied to crops without anxiety, as an active ingredient. The active ingredient is directly used or blended with a surface active agent having high HLB to keep prolonged effects, sprayed by a spraying machine, etc., or sealed with a low-boiling gas such as freon, etc., within an aerosol spraying device and used. The amount of the active ingredient used is sufficiently about 0.005W5g.

EFFECT: Vaporization of the active ingredient is suppressed, effects can be prolonged for a long period and scattering of raw waste and entrance of cats and dogs into a plot, causing damage to flower bed, plantation and lawn can be prevented.
