Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially suitable ammonia decomposition catalyst for manufacturing hydrogen by decomposing ammonia at relatively low temperature with using a catalyst having low raw material cost and stably available without complex preparation or manufacturing of the catalyst and a manufacturing method of hydrogen using the catalyst.SOLUTION: There is provided an ammonia decomposition catalyst obtained by a reduction treatment of a mixture containing iron, at least one kind of metal selected from a group consisting of I group metals, II group metals and XIII group metals in the periodic table and at least one kind of metal selected from a group consisting of V metal metals, VI group metals, VII group metal, XII metal groups and lanthanoid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
