To provide a method for depositing a methanol reforming catalyst having a low temperature activity and a high heat resistance and also for depositing a CO oxidation removal catalyst capable of oxidizing and removing CO in a wide temperature range and suitable for lowering the production cost and making the size compact by solving a problem of an inferior production efficiency attributed to the formation of different types of coatings formed on the methanol reforming catalyst and the CO oxidation removal catalyst carrier and making a single metal carrier usable for both of the catalysts.
The catalyst carrier is composed of a metal carrier and a porous coating containing silica, zirconia and the like on the metal carrier. The catalyst carrier is usable for a metal reforming catalyst and a CO oxidation removal catalyst.
