Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the relative movement of two adjoining catalyst plates by forming the recesses and projections of the adjoining corrugated plates allover in the contact part into such shape as to permit them to be engageably overlapped.
CONSTITUTION: The interengaging parts of a first corrugated plate and a second corrugated plate are both formed into such shape as to permit their overlapping. The projections of the first corrugated plate are inserted into the recesses of the second corrugated plate to exert lateral force thereon so as to avoid relative displacement therebetween, thereby heightening their mechanical strength.
