Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the height of the entire of a burner for making its size smaller and making it thinner in a catalyst combustion apparatus in which a gas fuel or a liquid fuel is combustion and which is applied for a portable heater as a portable small-sized heat source.
SOLUTION: There are provided a nozzle 13 for injecting fuel gas 11, a mixing section 16 for mixing fuel gas injected from the nozzle 13 and air into mixed gas, and a combustion chamber 20 having a catalyst body 19 provided therein for combusting the mixed gas. The combustion chamber 20 is divided vertically in parallel in an injection direction of the nozzle 13, and the mixing section 16 and the nozzle 13 are held vertically.
